Abstract
This thesis addresses the design of a wheel ballasting system for vehicles with the aim of improving stability and performance by lowering the center of mass. To achieve this, iterative design methodologies and functional analysis were employed, allowing for the exploration of various alternatives and the evaluation of their technical feasibility. Through the application of 3D modeling techniques and prototype testing, the effectiveness of the ballasting system was validated, demonstrating a significant improvement in vehicle stability and performance compared to traditional ballasting methods. This work contributes to the field of vehicle engineering by providing an innovative and exploratory solution for optimizing performance under various operating conditions.
