Metodología de análisis de riesgos para proyectos del tipo Brownfield en el sector industrial/minero

Abstract

El presente trabajo aborda la ejecución de proyectos, los cuales son necesarios implementar en todo tipo de compañías que quieran mantener un crecimiento sostenido en el tiempo. En Chile los principales proyectos son del tipo minero/industrial, muchos de los cuales involucran grandes inversiones y extensos plazos de ejecución. Al investigar el desempeño que han tenido en los últimos años la ejecución de estos proyectos, se observan bajos niveles de cumplimiento en cuanto al costo y al plazo de ejecución de éstos. Debido a esto, no se logra el éxito durante la ejecución del proyecto, por el contrario, generan problemas y muchas veces terminan en reclamos, arbitrajes y disputas entre empresas mandantes y contratistas. El Project Managment Institute (PMI) e Independent Project Analysis (IPA) hace bastante tiempo se encuentran trabajando en establecer procesos de gestión orientados a lograr el éxito en la ejecución de los proyectos. Dentro de estos procesos, se genera el módulo de Gestión de Riesgos, que establece una secuencia de procesos para gestionar los riesgos de cada proyecto. El presente trabajo genera un procedimiento rápido y confiable para realizar una identificación, análisis cualitativo y cuantitativo de los riesgos del proyecto. Para iniciar el análisis se elaborar una base de datos con los principales riesgos comunes, clasificándolos y cuantificando su impacto en costo y plazo(...). The present thesis focuses on the execution of projects, which are necessary to implement in all types of companies that want to maintain a sustained growth over time. In Chile, the main projects are of the mining / industrial type, many of which involve large investments and extensive execution periods. Investigating the performance of these projects in recent years, we find low levels of compliance in terms of cost and the execution time of these projects.
