This methodology aims to create a more effective and efficient production system, mainly focusing on production and logistics fields. The Kanban systems consist of several ways to communicate and exchange information between different operators of a production line at a company, or between supplier and customer. Its purpose is to simplify communication, speeding it up and avoiding errors caused by lack of information and also maximize the team productivity by reducing team’s inactive periods. The present document will analyse this methodology using the Atlassian JIRA software which seeks to capture, organize and assign tasks and also track all team’s activities. Since 1950, a lot of different perspectives had arisen regarding the social impact that comes along with the process of gatekeeping in the news transmission (that gathers diverse stages of selection, edition and communication of a news event). Some of the other visions propose that the configuration of subjectivity of this events is formed during this process. In this document, a review of the different point of views regarding gatekeeping, the impact of social networks and the different tools that exist today for this effect is presented. Optimizing time and developing the performance of the rehabilitation specialists through technology is a priority to the healthcare system that witnesses how the patients who are not properly rehabilitated are readmitted in it once again, spending resources already lacking. In a physical rehabilitation therapy, the kinesics exercises prescribed to the patients by a specialist generally have very specific requirements to the nature and state of this pathology. To instruct, teach and supervise the correct performance of these exercises is a task that requires time from specialists and that can be automated. In this context, the Chilean company Lifeware is developing Kinectsiology, a support platform for the physiotherapist, focused on instructing and guiding the patient in the performance of the prescribed exercises. Guiding and instructing a patient can be achieved through multimedia contents, such as 3D animations, and text and voice instructions. However, a specialist-level supervision requires to detect a patient, its posture and its movements, and to determine if the patient is correctly performing the requested exercises. The present work develops a kinesics exercises detection algorithm, which using the Kinect sensor for Windows v2 it determines if the patient is correctly performing the kinesics exercises shown on screen. The algorithm uses and compares the data from two pseudo-skeletons. On one hand, the pseudo-skeleton from Kinect is captured live and is matched with the pseudo-skeleton from an “avatar” or 3D instructor, which shows on screen the correct performance of an exercise. The results from the algorithm turned out to be of low reliability, which doesn’t surpass the standards to be implemented in a commercial tool for support of physical rehabilitation. An IPS solution was designed and deployed to offer protection and traffic inspection in a corporate network for all protocols and the most important and critical network links and services for the organization, and was configured according the best practices to deliver higher protection and minimize the false alarm rate. The scope of the project defined a two-week start-up, where network threats were found and recommendations for mitigating the identified risks were delivered to the customer. On the other hand, it’s common that the applications need to be scalabe and highly available to meet user demands. But Docker Engine does not have the functionality to interact with a cluster of nodes, it can only communicate with a node, that is why the requirement for a solution to orchestrate and communicate containers. This paper will focus on a comparative between two reinforcement learning algorithms, where the objective is the development of dynamic, real-time defensive strategies for the RoboCup Small Size League soccer competition, where a set of actions are executed by a centralized agent that controls wirelessly and autonomously all the robots of the team, and where the RoboCup USM team actively participates, from which this study arises (group within the Innovacion y Robotica Estudiantil, formerly known as Centro de Robotica). The topologycal modification in these materials, given by the grain size change, orientation of these grains and their boundary movement, allows us to define macroscopic properties like resistance, conductivity among others. Experimenting with materials is an expensive process, as well as obtain a specific property for industry with maximum performance and minimum costs, so we attempt to mathematically model and simulate the model computationally in order to predict properties. Nowadays there are several models that try to capture statistics generated in experiments, highlighting the classic curvature model and vertex model, but non of them captures the phenomenon completely. In this work we propose and implement a grain growth model that couples features from the vertex and curvature model with the purpose of predict the phenomenon precisely.
