Abstract
This Product Design Engineering degree thesis presents the development of an intelligent mobile application aimed at enhancing culinary skills. The primary objective was to facilitate progressive learning through a smart assistance system adapted to various levels of expertise. First, an extensive literature review on microlearning and computer vision was conducted. Utilizing a User-Centered Design approach, a linear navigation flow was structured to fragment complex processes into atomic and accessible steps. Subsequently, a service was designed and implemented featuring an active feedback system, where AI training is performed collaboratively with the user. The results revealed 100% efficiency in navigability and high acceptance of literal iconography. Additionally, usability analyses and business models were conducted to evaluate the viability of a motivational gamification ecosystem, identifying physical prize redemption as a critical retention driver. In conclusion, this thesis contributes to the product design field by integrating assistive technology with tangible loyalty strategies. These results are expected to serve as a foundation for future "hands-free" kitchen interfaces.
