Abstract
A strategic inclusion plan for children and young people is proposed through the practice of tennis. In Chile, the measurement of poverty is done in a multidimensional way, which is composed of four dimensions: Education, Health, Work and Social Security, and Housing. Together with these dimensions, the lack of the environment in which they live and the support networks they count are measured. That is why the proposal for a strategic plan focuses on the implementation of tennis in the schools of the most vulnerable communities, since with sports, especially tennis, a series of physical and mental benefits are obtained. In addition, the other development alternative is given to students in school vulnerability, either by assigning scholarships or having the motivation to study a career related to sports. In order to implement the model, state funds are used to which each school that wants to conduct the workshop must apply for the allocation of funds. In this work, we take as an example the funds of the ”Open Schools” program that has $ 300,000,000 with a maximum grant of $ 2,500,000. Where, with these funds a coverage of 120 establishments is achieved with the maximum granted by school, but if you assign the minimum to achieve the implementation it is possible to increase to 229. Taking this last data and if it is possible to impact 5% of the students that are the program and limiting the problem of vulnerability to children who enter the SENAME and then enter to serve sentences in Gendarmerie de Chile, savings are achieved by maintaining them of approximately $ 60,000,000, which can be used to cover with the model about 77% of schools in La Pintana, which is the commune with the highest multidimensional poverty rate.
