Abstract
La etiqueta de eficiencia energética de electrodomésticos influye en la decisión de compra del consumidor. Respecto a los datos obtenidos de la encuesta se ha concluido que su peso no es sencillo de calcular y este depende de la importancia que le asigna cada consumidor. Por ejemplo, para los refrigeradores el ahorro pesa un 25% dentro de los factores estética, tecnología y ahorro. Concluyendo de la misma, un 60% de la población conoce la etiqueta de eficiencia energética y un 25% está dispuesta a priorizar al ahorro por sobre el precio en su ranking de factores.
Un consumidor racional debería preferir la etiqueta de eficiencia energética. Concluyendo del estudio de mercado, al elegir un nivel superior de eficiencia energética se logran ahorros en el caso de refrigeradores por preferir nivel A+ sobre el base A y de congeladores por preferir nivel A sobre el base C.
El programa de eficiencia energética está instalado en el mundo y en Chile. El programa Chileno fue creado usando el programa Europeo, lamentablemente el mundo está mucho más adelantado. La Unión Europea actualizó su etiqueta en 2013, en el caso de Chile es urgente actualizar la etiqueta, expandiendo el programa de certificación energético a más electrodomésticos principales, tales como lavadoras, secadoras y lavavajillas.
Hay una falta de compromiso preocupante en Chile, es imposible avanzar si no hay una política de Estado. Las instituciones a cargo son débiles, falta empoderar a la Agencia Chilena de Eficiencia Energética. Actualmente, está no cuenta con ningún estudio acerca del impacto de la etiqueta de eficiencia energética de electrodomésticos en los consumidores ni tampoco posee una campaña efectiva masiva de información acerca de la eficiencia energética.
Es hora y momento de que Chile se comprometa con la eficiencia energética y se transforme en líder, es la única forma de asegurar un mañana mejor, para Chile y el mundo.

The European Union updated its label in 2013, in the case of Chile is urgent update the label, expanding the program's main energy certification, such as washers, dryers and dishwashers appliances. There is a disturbing lack of commitment in Chile, it is impossible to move forward if there is a state policy. The institutions in charge are weak, lack empower the Chilean Energy Efficiency Agency. It is currently not have any study on the impact of energy efficiency labelling of appliances for consumers nor has an effective mass information campaign about energy efficiency. It is time and time that Chile is committed to energy efficiency and become a leader, is the only way to ensure a better tomorrow for Chile and the world.
