Abstract
Un Punto de Venta (POS) resulta fundamental para un negocio de servicios alimentarios, ya que aporta eficiencia y competitividad. Aunque el enfoque ágil parece ser la opción idónea para su desarrollo, su implementación puede ser costosa para pequeñas empresas con presupuestos ajustados o que no planean invertir una gran cantidad de recursos en ello. Por consiguiente, en el presente documento se procederá a analizar, seleccionar y utilizar cuidadosamente prácticas de desarrollo ágil que se adapten a las limitaciones financieras y temporales de un negocio enfocado en servicios alimentarios, sin comprometer la calidad del producto final.
A Point of Sale (POS) system is essential for a food service business, as it enhances efficiency and competitiveness. Although the agile approach appears to be the ideal option for its development, its implementation can be costly for small businesses with tight budgets or those that do not plan to invest a large amount of resources in it. Therefore, this document will proceed to analyze, select, and carefully use agile development practices that fit the financial and time constraints of a business focused on food services, without compromising the quality of the final product.
