Abstract
a presente investigación se centra en la importancia de la transformación digital en la industria de las telecomunicaciones. Esta transformación es esencial para mantener la competitividad en un entorno dinámico y tecnológicamente avanzado. En este contexto, nos enfocamos en el área de Network Roll Out de la empresa de telecomunicaciones WOM S.A. como un caso de estudio representativo para el rediseño de los procesos, a fin de mejorar la eficiencia operativa al optimizar las tareas diarias, ayudando a supervisar, medir y procesar información para cualquier unidad de trabajo. El propósito principal de esta investigación es proponer estrategias de transformación digital en el área de Network Roll Out de WOM S.A. Los objetivos específicos incluyen identificar los desafíos actuales, evaluar las oportunidades de mejora y desarrollar estrategias concretas que impulsen la eficiencia y competitividad de la empresa. Esta investigación se basa en un enfoque descriptivo con un análisis cuantitativo de datos. Se ha utilizado una variedad de herramientas de análisis de negocios, como PEST, Porter y FODA, para proporcionar una base sólida para nuestras estrategias de transformación digital
Del análisis de las cinco fuerzas de Porter, se concluyó que la atractividad de la propuesta de estrategias de transformación digital en área Network Roll Out de Wom S.A., es medianamente alta, indicativo que la industria de las telecomunicaciones está sujeta a un nivel de competencia moderado. Esto significa que las empresas de la industria tienen cierta capacidad para controlar sus precios y márgenes de beneficio, pero también se enfrentan a una serie de desafíos que pueden limitar sus ganancias. Se realizó un estudio descriptivo, con abordaje cuantitativo. Se concluyó que en un balance entre las fortalezas, oportunidades, debilidades y amenazas está bien aspectada a nivel interno y externo la transformación digital en el Área de Network Roll Out. Las estrategias de transformación digital en el área Network Roll Out son entendidas como el conjunto de lineamientos estratégicos y acciones orientadas hacia la búsqueda de nuevas formas para afrontar el reto, está conformada por siete (7) variables o elementos prioritarios enfocados desde la perspectiva actual y la tendencia futura, e intervienen a la Planificación, Organización, Procesos, Toma de decisiones, Trabajo, Recursos Humanos y Control.
This research focuses on the importance of digital transformation in the telecommunications industry. This transformation is essential to maintain competitiveness in a dynamic and technologically advanced environment. In this context, we focus on the Network Roll Out area of the telecommunications company WOM S.A. as a representative case study for the redesign of processes, in order to improve operational efficiency by optimizing daily tasks, helping to monitor, measure and process information for any work unit. The main purpose of this research is to propose digital transformation strategies in the Network Roll Out area of WOM S.A. Specific objectives include identifying current challenges, assessing opportunities for improvement and developing concrete strategies that boost the company's efficiency and competitiveness. This research is based on a descriptive approach with quantitative data analysis. A variety of business analysis tools, such as PEST, Porter and SWOT, have been used to provide a solid foundation for our digital transformation strategies. From the analysis of Porter's five forces, it was concluded that the attractiveness of the proposed digital transformation strategies in the Network Roll Out area of Wom S.A. is moderately high, indicating that the telecommunications industry is subject to a moderate level of competition. This means that companies in the industry have some ability to control their prices and profit margins, but they also face a number of challenges that can limit their profits. A descriptive study was carried out, with a quantitative approach. It was concluded that in a balance between the strengths, opportunities, weaknesses and threats, the digital transformation in the Network Roll Out Area is well considered internally and externally. Digital transformation strategies in the Network Roll Out area are understood as the set of strategic guidelines and actions oriented towards the search for new ways to face the challenge, it is made up of seven (7) variables or priority elements focused from the current perspective and the future trend, and intervene in Planning, Organization, Processes, Decision Making, Work, Human Resources and Control.
