Abstract
The current project is developed under a period of work carried out in a mining company as engineer in training, in which it is determined that there are spaces for innovation in maintenance strategies for the Maintenance Management. This is related particularly with develop final drive trucks rotation to seek to increase the useful life, symmetrical work and saving resources. While there are endless number of improvements, innovations and opportunities that are possible to carry out the strategy that was proposed, introduced several ideas, join a wide variety of areas and existing knowledge in the mining sector, to take forward this strategy. For example, require work, experience and information in the areas of planning, reliability and workshops, in addition to knowledge of machine elements called APD (Scheduled Wear Analysis) and own analyzes of the manufacturers. Among the objectives that were proposed in this work it was to determine the technical feasibility of perform rotation and the moment in which will be made. This is particularly relevant because determined the success of the strategy and components failure records were analyzed, oil analysis and mines route information. All this to make a good analysis and expose all information related to the strategy to run. In addition to determining technical information, it was part of the work to determine the cost of implementing the strategy to clearly assess the variables that decrease the economic benefit that is intended to receive. As ultimate goal it was identified and quantified the risks to which it is subjected to implement the strategy as part of the maintenance plan, which is the last step to climb before successfully implement each of the points previously described.
