Abstract
La presente memoria de título presenta el establecimiento de un plan de control de inventario para los repuestos que tienen una mayor cantidad de pérdidas en la Taller de Mantenimiento de la Empresa Subterra Minería S.A. El plan de control de inventario cubre todas las etapas del proceso, desde que son recepcionados los repuestos para ser ingresados a las bodegas del Taller, y ser utilizados en el proceso de mantenimiento de los equipos de la empresa.
En la sección “Identificación de la Causa de las Pérdidas” se determina que la principal causa que está provocando pérdidas de los distintos insumos que se manejan en el Taller es “Mal proceso de inventario provocando desorden y falta de registro de repuestos que efectivamente se encuentran en el Taller, sumado con un mal control de inventario lo cual puede finalizar en hurtos sin ser detectados”.
En la sección “Análisis ABC para los Repuestos y Componentes del Taller” se analizan las materias primas, materiales y envases en forma independiente detectando que son sólo 19 repuestos y componentes los que están provocando un 58% de las pérdidas promedio mensuales en el Taller, los cuales corresponden a la categoría A del análisis ABC.
En la sección “Propuesta de un Plan de Manejo y Control de Inventario para el Taller” se proponen soluciones de forma tal de disminuir las actuales pérdidas que mantienen los insumos de categoría A del análisis ABC. Este plan se centra en los puntos del proceso en los cuales los repuestos sufren manipulaciones o modificaciones los cuales corresponden a patio de recepción y despacho, bodega. El plan es complementado con una propuesta de control para los residuos que se obtienen de la mantención, con una propuesta de toma de inventario físico diario y mensual, con una propuesta de plan de vigilancia y con el planteamiento de las relaciones e información que debe existir entre los departamentos del Taller para obtener los resultados deseados en el proyecto planteado. Por último se determina la reestructuración de personal necesaria para desarrollar la implementación del plan de manejo y control de inventario, en donde se concluye que al implementar el plan se puede reducir el personal en tres personas.
Finalmente en el capítulo “Análisis Económico” se presentan tres escenarios posibles del proyecto. El primero corresponde a la obtención de ingresos sólo por reducción de pérdidas, el segundo a la posibilidad de obtener ingresos sólo por reducción de personal y el tercer y último escenario es la suma de los dos anteriores. Las tres situaciones evaluadas son económicamente rentables pero la mejor corresponde a una combinación de reducción de pérdidas en un 25% y disminución de personal en tres personas con un porcentaje de financiamiento externo igual a 75% obteniéndose un valor actual neto de $102.847.607 en los seis años de duración del proyecto.
The present memory presents the establishment of a control plan for spare parts inventory that have a greater amount of losses in the Maintenance Workshop of Company Subterra Minería S.A. The inventory control plan covers all stages of the process, since they are recepcionados the parts to be admitted to the cellars of the workshop, and used in the process of equipment maintenance company. In the section "Identifying the Cause of Loss" it is determined that the main cause which is causing losses of different inputs that are used in the workshop is "Bad inventory process causing disorder and lack of registration of parts actually are in the workshop, coupled with poor inventory control which can end in thefts undetected”. In the "ABC Analysis for Workshop’s Parts and Components" section raw materials and packaging materials are analyzed independently detecting that only 19 parts and components that are causing 58% of the average monthly losses in the workshop, which correspond to category A of the ABC analysis. In the "Proposal for a Plan of Management and Inventory Control Workshop" section solutions so as to reduce current losses remain inputs category A of ABC analysis is proposed. This plan focuses on the points of the process in which the parts suffer manipulations or modifications which correspond to front yard and office, warehouse. The plan is complemented by a proposal to control waste obtained from the maintenance, with a proposal for making physical daily and monthly inventory, with a proposed monitoring plan and with the approach of the relationships and information that should exist Workshop between departments to get the desired results in the proposed project. Finally the restructuring needed to develop the implementation of the management plan and inventory control staff, which concluded that implementing the plan can reduce staff in three people is determined. Finally in "Economic Analysis" project three scenarios are presented. The first is the income-loss reduction only, the second to the possibility of earning only downsizing and the third and final stage is the sum of the previous two. The three situations are evaluated economically profitable but the best corresponds to a combination of reduced losses by 25% and reduced staff in thee people with a percentage of external financing equal to 75% yielding a net present value of $102.847.607 in six years project duration.
