Abstract
En el presente trabajo se podrá obtener información concreta respecto a los ámbitos técnicos y económicos, de un aumento de capacidad de 4000 TPD a 6000 TPD en la planta chancado de la minera altos Punitaquí (MAP). Para ello se han obtenido indicadores del proceso actual, logrando cuantificar los porcentajes de utilización respecto a la capacidad máxima de cada equipo, obteniendo como primera conclusión que el cuello de botella se genera en la línea terciaria del proceso. En base a lo anterior, y agregando a ellos los “KPI”1 de disponibilidad y utilización, se proponen cuatro opciones técnicas para lograr el aumento de capacidad en las cuales se muestran las ventajas y desventajas de cada caso. Estas alternativas son, trabajar en un plan de mejora respecto a disponibilidad y utilización de la planta, agregar un nuevo chancador terciario a la línea crítica, agregar una etapa cuaternaria al proceso compuesto por chancadores de impacto, reemplazar la línea crítica por un chancador de rodillos de alta presión (HPGR2).Tras obtener los parámetros técnicos de cada opción, se trabaja desde el punto de vista económico, calculando el CAPEX de cada alternativa, el plan de mejora operacional se cuantifica en una inversión de $4,500 USD por mes, en la opción de agregar un nuevo chancador terciarios se obtiene un valor de $700,000 USD, para la opción de crear una línea cuaternaria con chancadores de impacto se obtiene la cifra de $1,770,000 USD y para la tercera opción que hace referencia a la incorporación de un chancador HPGR en remplazo a línea terciar actual se obtiene el valor de $10,870,000 USD. Con los valores obtenidos se ha realizado un análisis sobre el impacto en el plan de negocios de la empresa, de cada una de las opciones.Finalmente se realiza un análisis combinando los puntos de vista técnicos y económicos, concluyendo cual es la mejor opción para la empresa, respetando los parámetros “HSEC”, logrando una mejora de costos en la producción y cuál de las opciones se adecua de mejor forma al plan de negocio de la empresa.
In the present research it will be possible to obtain concrete information regarding the technical and economic scopes, from an increase in capacity from 4000 TPD to 6000 TPD in the crushing plant of the mining company Altos de Punitaquí (MAP). In order to achieve it, there have been obtained indicators of the current process, quantifying the percentages of utilization with respect to the maximum capacity of each equipment, obtaining as a first conclusion that the bottleneck is generated in the tertiary line of the process. Based on the above, and adding the Key Performance Indicators of availability and utilization, four technical options are proposed to accomplish the increase of capacity in which the advantages and disadvantages of each case are shown. These alternatives are to work on an improvement plan regarding the availability and use of the plant, add a new tertiary crusher to the critical line, add a quaternary stage to the process composed of impact crushers, and replace the critical line with a roller crusher of High pressure (HPGR).After obtaining the technical parameters of each option, we work from the economic point of view, calculating the CAPEX of each alternative, the operational improvement plan is quantified in an investment of $ 4,500 USD per month, in the option of adding a new tertiary crusher a value of $ 700,000 USD is obtained, for the option of creating a quaternary line with impact crushers, the cost ascends to a quantiy of $ 1,770,000 USD and for the third option that refers to the incorporation of an HPGR crusher in replacement to current tertiary line, it is obtained the value of $ 10,870,000 USD. With this values acquired, an analysis was made of the impact on the business plan of the company, of each of the options.Finally, an analysis is made combining the technical and economic perspectives, concluding which is the best option for the company, respecting the "HSEC" parameters, achieving an improvement in production costs and showing which of the options is better suited to the business plan of the company.
