PROPUESTA DE MEJORAMIENTO DE LA GESTIÓN DE INVENTARIOS Y AGREGACIÓN DE VALOR: CASO APLICADO A LA GRAN MINERÍA

Abstract

Según un estudio del Centro gA para la Transformación Digital (2015), sobre elÍndice de adopción industrial de tecnologías digitales en América Latina, en unapuntuación del 1 al 100 la minería chilena se ubica en el lugar 72, por debajo desectores Manufacturero, Salud, Servicios Financieros y Comercio Minorista, a pesarde ello, existe conciencia en la industria minera chilena que existen dos pilares quepermitan mantener la competitividad de este sector: la Industria 4.0 y la fuerzalaboral.La Industria 4.0 o la denominada Cuarta Revolución Industrial, nombre que lacomunidad de expertos, ha venido a dar al fenómeno de la digitalización en lasprincipales cadenas de producción, fabricación y suministro a través de tecnologíascomo la Realidad Virtual, la Inteligencia Artificial o el Internet de las cosas. Por otrolado, la Fuerza Laboral, que exige del recurso humano nuevas habilidades,exigencias y cambios en los tipos de liderazgo necesarios.Esta conciencia genera un quiebre en la tendencia cautelosa de la minería y obligaa mirar a otras industrias e incorporar esas experiencias en este sector. Es así,como Amazon Go, tienda de Amazon, que opera sin cajeros, sin filas, sin dinero,que permite un proceso free flow a los compradores, sirve de inspiración para queeste concepto sea aplicado al proceso de bodega de una minera.El Proceso de digitalización en las empresas es más que simplemente digitalizar losprocesos analógicos, la transformación digital es el replanteo por completo de susoperaciones y procesos basados en el mundo digital, creando nuevos diseños denegocio que borren los límites entre el mundo físico y el digital.Por todo lo anterior, el presente trabajo tiene como objetivo desarrollar y evaluaruna propuesta de implementación de un sistema de automatización de bodegas conla tecnología de Radio Frequency Identification (RFID). This is howAmazon Go, Amazon store, operates without cashiers, without lines, without money,which allows a free flow process to buyers, serves as inspiration for this concept tobe applied to the winery process of a mining company.The process of digitization in companies is more than simply digitizing analogprocesses, the digital transformation is the complete rethinking of their operationsand processes based on the digital world, creating new business designs that blurthe boundaries between the physical and digital world.For all of the above, the present work aims to develop and evaluate a proposal forthe implementation of a warehouse automation system with Radio FrequencyIdentification (RFID) technology. For this purpose, the impact of industry 4.0 on thesupply chain is analyzed, the current process of the winery, its service levels aredescribed, the technical proposal and the economic evaluation of the project and itsrespective conclusions are described.
