Abstract
En la actualidad la energía undimotriz representa un desafío ante la necesidadenergética del mundo. Existen innumerables prototipos e incluso modelos comercialesque dicen poder manejar las dificultades propuestas por el mar, y obtener energíaeléctrica. Pero la implementación de estos proyectos ha evidenciado que la energíaundimotriz no es un recurso fácil de manipular, mareas, marejadas, ambiente corrosivo,transporte de la energía generada, son algunas de las contrariedades que ofrece esterecurso, aun así, la inventiva e iniciativa de algunos permite trabajar y enfrentar estasadversidades, con un objetivo claro, aprovechar el potencial undimotriz. El presentetrabajo de titulación tiene por objetivo la estimación la potencia disponible en el sitiode instalación, dimensionamiento de elementos mecánicos, fabricación del prototipo einstalación para llegar finalmente al análisis de los resultados obtenidos.

There arecountless prototypes and even business models that say they can handle the challengesproposed by the sea, and get electricity. But the implementation of these projects hasshown that the wave energy is not easy to manipulate resources, tides, waves, corrosiveenvironment, transport of energy generated, are some of the setbacks that offers thisresource, yet the inventiveness and initiative some allowed to work and face theseadversities, with a clear objective, seize the wave potential. This memory titration aimsdegree estimating the power available at the site of installation, sizing of mechanicalelements, manufacturing and installation of the prototype and finally to the analysis ofthe results.
