Abstract
In order to reduce an evident problem that is increasing year after year in the Metropolitan Region due to the overpopulation and the failures of the current design of the public transport system, the Ministry of Transport has been obliged to invest in continuous plans of mitigation, among them, it has proposed the extension of the subway with two new lines, called Line 3 and 6, which began to be built during the year 2013.Line 6 will have a length of 15,3 km and it will be placed between the regions or comunas of Cerrillos and Providencia. It will be a completely in-tunnel track constructed by the system known as NATM (New Austrian Tunneling Method), this method of construction has been adapted to the conditions of the Santiago´s soil. From the background collected in the project for the applicant, the purpose of this memory is to focus on making an in-detail description of the constructive process used in one of the stations that will make up the future line 6 of Santiago´s Subway, the National Stadium Station. It is expected to delve into the workflows and the methodologies used, the resources, the critics points and the considerations determined in its execution to avoid displacements and to comply with the stability parameters that the project requires.
