Abstract
El presente trabajo tuvo como objetivo diseñar un plan de mantenimiento preventivo para el separador de aceite del motor principal de una embarcación pesquera industrial, considerando las condiciones reales de operación del equipo. La metodología empleada incluyó el diagnóstico del estado actual del separador, la identificación de los principales modos de falla mediante la aplicación de la herramienta AMEF y la priorización de riesgos a través de una matriz de criticidad. A partir de este análisis se elaboró una propuesta de mantenimiento que define actividades, frecuencias y responsables de ejecución. Los resultados obtenidos demuestran que la implementación del plan propuesto permite mejorar la confiabilidad del equipo, reducir la ocurrencia de fallas severas y optimizar los costos asociados al mantenimiento. La relevancia de este estudio radica en su aplicabilidad a otras embarcaciones industriales con características similares, contribuyendo a una gestión más eficiente del mantenimiento naval.
The objective of this work was to design a preventive maintenance plan for the main engine oil separator of an industrial fishing vessel, considering the real operating conditions of the equipment. The methodology included the diagnosis of the current condition of the separator, the identification of the main failure modes through the application of the FMEA tool, and the prioritization of risks using a criticality matrix. Based on this analysis, a maintenance proposal was developed defining activities, frequencies, and responsible personnel. The results show that the proposed plan improves equipment reliability, reduces the occurrence of severe failures, and optimizes maintenance costs. The relevance of this study lies in its applicability to other industrial vessels with similar characteristics, contributing to a more efficient management of marine maintenance.
