dc.description.abstract Horcón has been affected by the lack of adequate infrastructure for handling hydrobiological resources, which leads to significant losses that can reach up to 50% of what is harvested. This situation worsens between May and August, when weather conditions prevent fishers from going out to sea and drastically reduce sales, impacting both the local economy and the continuity of the trade. Understanding that fishing activity is not limited to resource capture but also requires spaces for proper storage, processing, and commercialization, the need for facilities that support the work of local fishers becomes evident. Currently, the locality lacks formal infrastructure that would strengthen the trade or diversify the visitor experience, limiting both the professionalization of the sector and the integration between fishing communities and tourism. Despite the landscape and economic value of the area, deficiencies are identified in equipment, storage areas, sales spaces, and a coastal pathway connecting the various points of interest within the cove. In this context, the opportunity arises to develop an architectural project capable of providing the necessary infrastructural support for the storage and commercialization of fishing resources, while also enabling public spaces where residents and tourists can walk, observe, and understand the dynamics of the coastal edge. The project is conceived as an articulating model that supports the work of local fishers while promoting the community and tourism activation of Horcón. The local fisher, as the bearer of a traditional trade, requires a place that acknowledges and strengthens their work. This proposal seeks to provide that missing space, fostering better productive conditions and, at the same time, an accessible coastal experience for the community, contributing to the sociocultural and economic development of the area.en
