Abstract
A lo largo de los últimos años, se ha originado un importante debate acerca de lo que se debe entender por el concepto de “valor de marca”. En este documento se analizaron variados modelos que intentan medir este aspecto. Luego mediante un teórico, se determinó cual era el mejor modelo para medir el valor de la marca. En base a esto se aplicó este modelo a una empresa de la industria de bicicletas chilenas. El resultado final apuntó que los ingresos de esta compañía están determinados en un 77% por concepto de valor de marca.
An important issue was raised for discussion trough the last decade regarding the meaning of bran equity. In this article several brand valuation models were analyzed. Followed by a theoretical analysis, it was determined which was the best model to measure the brand value. On this basis this model was applied to a Chilean company in the bicycle industry. The final result indicated that the revenue of this company is determined by 77% of the brand value.
