Cell cultures constitute an essential technique in tissue engineering. Cells, through their metabolism, modify the environment in which they develop. The consequen ces to this process are a field that has not been studied enough. In this thesis, experiments are performed to quantify the changes produced by cell metabolism of Myoblasts of the C2C12 line cultured in DMEM media. Both the Surface Ten sion and Contact Angle were measured on supernatant samples at different culture times and with different cell densities. The results were then averaged to observe the magnitude of the variation in these variables and to analyze whether they allow conclusions to be drawn regarding the effect of the cells cultured in the medium in which they proliferate.es
