Abstract
El presente proyecto se ha desarrollado en un contexto educativo, al interior de la Universidad Técnica Federico Santa María, y como la Universidad ha intentado responder a los nuevos desafíos de este campo. Mediante la generación de nuevas metodologías enfocadas en el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje, se intenta responder al constante cambio de la sociedad, la cual requiere de un nuevo tipo de profesional.A base de una experiencia educativa piloto, se incorporan nuevas metodologías en la asignatura de Matemáticas I, donde se detectan factores necesarios para producir una implementación eficiente, las cuales se complementan con el análisis de referente que instauran tendencia en el área de la investigación docente.El presente Proyecto de Título, Experiencia de Aprendizaje Significativo en Matemáticas, busca instaurar bases para promover una continua actualización de la enseñanza-aprendizaje, mediante la integración de variables metodológicas, pedagógicas, evaluativas, tecnológicas y espaciales. Constituyendo un modelo facilitador de la implementación de nuevas metodologías educativas, a partir del manejo y control de estas variables. El proyecto culmina con una propuesta de implementación del modelo para la asignatura de Matemáticas I cursado por alumnos de primer año de la Carrera de Ingeniería en Diseño de Productos, y la validación de este a través de los beneficios obtenidos tras la aplicación de estas nuevas metodologías.
This project has been developed in an educational context, within the Universidad Técnica Federico Santa María, and has tried to respond to the new challenges on this field.By generating new methodologies focused on the process of teaching and learning, it seeks to respond to constantly changing society, which requires a new kind of professional.Based in a pilot educational experience, new methodologiesare incorporated in the subject of Mathematics I, where necessary factors are detected to produce an efficient implementation, which are complemented by the analysis of references that establish trends in the area of education’s research.This Thesis, Significant Learning Experience in Mathematics, seeks to establish a basis for promoting continuous updating of teaching and learning through the integration of methodological, pedagogical, evaluative, technological and spatial variables, being a facilitator model toimplement new educational methodologies, through effective management and control of these variables.The project culminates with the implementation of the model for the subject of Mathematics I taked by students of Product Design Engineer, and validation of this through the benefits obtained after the application of these new methodologies.
