Abstract
En el siguiente trabajo se presenta mediante una evaluación de proyecto, la viabilidad de abrir una nueva sede de un gimnasio de barrio ubicado en la comuna de Puente Alto llamado Box SotoXtreme. Esto con el fin de hacer crecer el negocio e incentivar más la vida saludable y el fitness en la comuna.
La propuesta de abrir una nueva sede nace por la gran demanda que está generando el gimnasio y el interés de seguir creciendo como negocio por parte del entrenador. La nueva sede constará de las mismas características que la sede principal tratando de mantener el enfoque en ofrecer un servicio de calidad y personalizado para así diferenciarse de la competencia y mantener fidelizados a sus nuevos miembros.
El mercado en el que está instaurado el negocio es bastante competitivo y hay que saber bien cómo diferenciarse. Lo anterior se respalda por el boom que trajo la pandemia sobre el cambio de conciencia en la población sobre su salud. El tamaño de mercado en el que está compitiendo el gimnasio actualmente es de 267.187 personas, tomando como referencia la comuna de Puente Alto y comunas aledañas.
Actualmente el gimnasio tiene una participación de mercado de un 0,03% que, junto con una inversión inicial para abrir la nueva sede del gimnasio que alcanza el monto de $15.710.015 se logra una Tasa interna de Retorno (TIR) de 55% y un Valor Actual Neto (VAN) de $22.609.323 en su mejor escenario y el recomendado, el cual se basa en adquirir un cierto porcentaje de deuda para financiar su inversión.
In the following work, the viability of opening a new headquarters for a neighborhood gym located in the Puente Alto commune called Box SotoXtreme is presented through a project evaluation. This in order to grow the business and further encourage healthy living and fitness in the community. The proposal to open a new headquarters was born due to the great demand that the gym is generating and the trainer's interest in continuing to grow as a business. The new headquarters will have the same characteristics as the main headquarters, trying to maintain the focus on offering a quality and personalized service in order to differentiate itself from the competition and keep its new members loyal. The market in which the business is established is quite competitive and you have to know well how to differentiate yourself. The above is supported by the boom that the pandemic brought about the change in awareness among the population about their health. The market size in which the gym is currently competing is 267,187 people, taking the municipality of Puente Alto and surrounding communities as a reference. Currently the gym has a market share of 0.03% which, together with an initial investment to open the new gym headquarters that reaches the amount of $15,710,015, achieves an Internal Rate of Return IRR of 55% and a Net Present Value (NPV) of $22,609,323 in its best and recommended scenario, which is based on acquiring a certain percentage of debt to finance your investment.
