Abstract
En aplicaciones industriales como plantas concentradoras mineras se emplean
accionamientos con máquinas sincrónicas alimentadas por cicloconversores de alta potencia,
alcanzando hoy en día 28 MW. La gestión productiva se ve perjudicada ante fallas
inesperadas de estos sistemas de accionamiento, lo que plantea la necesidad de mejorar el
tratamiento de fallas.
En este marco, este trabajo busca identificar, entender y documentar de manera simple una
falla de conmutación para un cicloconvertidor trifásico de configuración típica de 6 y 12
pulsos.
Para este fin, se hace la descripción y análisis para las causas probables de falla consistentes,
por ejemplo, en la combinación de ajustes, parametrización del sistema de control junto con
defectos en algún componente.
Este trabajo contribuye con una guía para el mantenimiento especializado, con menores
tiempos asociados de detección y aclaramiento de la falla, permitiendo mejorar la gestión
productiva con impacto en la disponibilidad y productividad de la planta industrial.
In industrial applications such as mining concentrator plants, drives with synchronous machines fed by high-power cycloconverters are used, reaching 28 MW today. Productive management is adversely affected by unexpected failures of these drive systems, which raises the need to improve fault handling. In this context, this work seeks to identify, understand and document in a simple way a switching fault for a three phase cycleconverter with a typical configuration of 6 and 12 pulses. For this purpose, the description and analysis are made for probable causes of failure consistent, for example, in the combination of adjustments, parameterization of the control system together with defects in some component. This work contributes with a guide for the specialized maintenance, with smaller associated times of detection and clarification of the fault, allowing to improve the productive management with impact in the availability and productivity of the industrial plant.
