Abstract
This working title is part of the proyect: ”Neurotraining Software for Team Sports”,a multidisciplinary work in progress from Dr. Marcos Z´u˜niga and Sports Sciene researchersfrom University of Playa Ancha, focused on developing new technologiesfor Elite athletes. The aim of this software is to work as a tool for Neurotraining routines, makinguse of Computer Vision techniques that allow for a lower cost, easier and more flexibleinstallation of the equipment, but keeping the accuracy and speed of a traditionalsensor based system.Through an easy, three step algorithm, this software manages to find with highaccuracy the position of a player inside the training field and detect when they step onthe target areas inside of it, all of this the result of an innovative development in theunexplored area of feet tracking and step detection.
