Abstract
In Chile, identity and culture are shaped by a variety of souces; indigenous peoples, colonial heritage, rural traditions, rapid urbanization, migration, and social movements. As a country with a rich and diverse cultural heritage, policies, programs and instruments have been consistently implemented to protec, promote and nurture the identity and culture of small communities, albeit with significant challenges in terms of representation and access. The commune of Til Til, located in the Metropolitan refion of Chile, has experienced decades of structural marginalization characterized by limited access to educational, employement and community development opportunities. added to this are enviromental problems stemming from industrial and mining activity in surrounding areas, whick has afected both the quality of life of its inhabitants and the balance of the natural environment. Furthemore, the weakining of local cultural practices and the loss of identity have generated a strong sense of disconnection from the territory among new generations. In this contex, educational training emerges as a binding factor as a transformative axis between the youth and adults of the commune and the social, enviromental, and cultural revitalization of Til Til.
