dc.description.abstractEn el presente trabajo se presenta el diseño y aplicación de una metodología para evaluar y mejorar el mantenimiento del área de carguío de la empresa objetivo. La motivación fue dar respuesta a la problemática que atraviesa el mercado del cobre y la empresa en particular. Se identificó la organización y funcionamiento de las áreas de producción y mantenimiento, realizándose un análisis de criticidad del área de carguío, cuya prioridad son las palas eléctricas P&H 4100 XPC. Se diseñó una Auditoría basada en las directrices de la Norma ISO 19011:2011, para determinar la brecha entre el estado actual y el ideal del mantenimiento. Al aplicarse esta herramienta se identificaron opciones de mejora, las cuales dieron origen a una propuesta que se llevó a cabo en un trabajo multidisciplinario con diversos colaboradores, logrando establecer tiempos de detención, dotación de mantenedores y una secuencia optimizada para las Pautas de mantenimiento.Con la adopción de la propuesta se prevén beneficios económicos de hasta 460.000 (USD/año), debido a la optimización de tiempos de detención de equipo y beneficios en los indicadores de desempeño de las palas eléctricas. Junto al aspecto técnico-económico, la Propuesta contempla la realización de una adecuada gestión del cambio para la implementación y anclaje de la propuesta en la cultura de la empresa.es_CL
dc.description.abstractIn the present work, an assessment and improvement methodology is reported, its development and implementation for the maintenance of the cargo area of the target company. The aim was to reach an approach for the challenging epoch the cuprum market is experiencing, as well as the company. The maintenance and production line areas organization and operation were scrutinized to analyze the cargo area, with P&H 4100 XPC electric shovel being a priority. A guideline ISO 19011:2011 based audit was then developed, to assess the gap between ideal and real stages of maintenance. Performing this auditing tool allowed the detection of improvement alternatives, resulting in a working proposal. The proposal was carried out in a multidisciplinary schema with different collaborators, setting standby times, equipment maintenance technician workforce, as well as an optimized maintenance pipeline to be applied as a template.Because of the proposal embracement, an approximate economic benefit of 460,000 USD per year is expected, given the optimized standby equipment times, and electric shovel performance indices. Alongside the technical and economic dimension, the recommended proposal contains also a change management recommendation for the reliable implementation and rooting in the company culture.eng
