Abstract
This research thesis is part of the FONDECYT 1231674 project. It addresses the intergenerational perception that the educational community has about the architectural spaces of the Piloto Pardo School in Valparaíso, and how it influences the physical and emotional well-being of users. In this research, current design standards and implemented teaching-learning methodologies are analyzed, which allow us to understand the spatial configurations of the school. In this way, these elements are linked to sensory perceptions, allowing the educational community to identify space-associated problems. The goal is to enhance these spaces through participatory design, promoting intergenerational relationships and transforming the traditional hierarchical roles of schools through collaboration and teamwork.
