DESARROLLO E IMPLEMENTACIÓN DE UNA BASE DE DATOS CUALITATIVA Y VERSÁTIL UTILIZANDO EL SOFTWARE FILEMAKER, PARA LOS EGRESADOS DE LA CARRERA INGENIERÍA EN DISEÑO DE PRODUCTOS

Abstract

El proyecto desarrollado se enmarca dentro de la carrera de Ingeniería en Diseño de Productos y tiene relación directa con sus ex alumnos. Comprende diversas etapas realizadas por varios agentes, las cuales se pueden clasificar en: Investigación previa de la información personal de cada agente, implementación de una plataforma en la cual verter y almacenar dicha información y un posterior trabajo con la información en donde se podrán hacer asociaciones que permitan establecer los primeros mapas sociográficos de los ex alumnos, así como también las diversas tipologías presentes en ellos. Se pretende implementar una plataforma robusta, sólida y versátil que permita trabajar, manipular e interactuar de manera fácil y fluida con la información contenida; que sea amigable con los usuarios de la misma y el entorno de trabajo.Previo al desarrollo e implementación de la plataforma, se realizó una investigación a las diversas alternativas existentes en el mercado capaces de cumplir con lo que se requería, se analizaron, testearon de manera individual y además, se realizó una serie comparaciones entre ellas. La finalidad de toda esta etapa de análisis y pruebas fue conocer a fondo las capacidades de cada alternativa y elegir la más óptima y la que se ajustara de mejor manera a los propósitos de este trabajo.Finalmente luego de elegir la mejor alternativa, se construyó una Base de Datos en la cual se almacenaron todos los datos obtenidos de la investigación y algunos documentos e información extra que complementan el perfil de cada agente analizado.La capacidad de dicha Base de Datos es bastante amplia, permitiendo navegar entre diferentes pantallas y plataformas digitales; propiciando la fácil interacción con los usuarios, lo que permitirá el uso y análisis de todo lo que contiene.

The developed project is delimited within the Product Design Engineering career and it is directly related to graduate students.Several stages are developed by different agents, which may be classified into: prior investigation of different graduate’s personal information, the implementation of a platform in which to state and collect the aforementioned information; and a subsequent work with the information where several associations would allow graduate students to establish the main sociographic maps and also the varied typologies present in them.It is expected to implement a stable, solid and versatile platform, which will allow to work, manipulate and interact easily and fluently with the gathered information as well as; a friendly platform for users and for the work environment.Prior to the development and implementation of the platform, an investigation was carried out to the different existing alternatives in the market capable to assume and fulfill the requirements, individual analysis and tests and also several comparisons among them.The outcome of this analysis stage and the tests is to know in depth the capacity from each alternative and choose the best and the most suitable for the purpose of this work.Finally, after have chosen the most suitable alternative, a database was built in which all the gathered data of this investigation were stored and some documents and extra information which will fit the profile of each analyzed agent.The before mentioned capacity of the Data Base is large enough, this will enable to browse different screens and digital platforms; promoting an easy interaction with the users, which will allow the use and analysis of the entire content.
