Abstract
This thesis addresses the structural shortage of professional drivers in Chile and proposes the design of a business model for a driving school that integrates full immersion simulation technology as the core of its training approach. Using PESTEL and Porter’s Five Forces frameworks, the study identifies key opportunities and challenges in the industry. An empirical survey of 82 potential users validated the proposed value proposition, highlighting technological innovation, reduced training times, and greater accessibility as decisive factors. The business model was structured through the Value Proposition Canvas and the Business Model Canvas, aligning strategic, operational, and financial components. From a financial perspective, the project demonstrates positive cash flow, achieving investment recovery in 33 months, with profitability indicators (NPV, IRR, and Payback) confirming its feasibility. In conclusion, the initiative represents an innovative and scalable educational solution, with social impact by expanding access to professionalization, fostering labor mobility, and addressing the growing demand for qualified drivers in Chile.
