Abstract
El siguiente trabajo, corresponde al proyecto de titulación para optar al título de Ingeniero Civil Mecánico. El cual consiste en la generación de una propuesta para reducir la falla de productos de una empresa Manufacturera de Neumáticos, denominada “Neumáticos Fuera de Balanceo” consistentes en la presencia de mayor peso en forma radial en el neumático superior al valor especificado por los estándares de la empresa.
Para generar la propuesta se utiliza la metodología DMAIC. Este método consta de la aplicación de una serie de etapas ya definidas para que el proyecto sea efectivo al momento de la implementación el cual va desde la gestión hasta la operación de este, y se divide en cinco fases.
• Definición (En inglés Define): Es la primera etapa del proceso en el cual se clarifica el objetivo del proyecto, la forma en que se va a medir, los beneficios potenciales y las personas que van a intervenir. Con la finalidad de dar a conocer que es un problema, que es cuantificable y puede estar afecto a mejora.
• Medir (En inglés Measure): En esta segunda etapa se entiende con mayor detalle el proceso y se valida el sistema de medición de las métricas involucradas, estableciendo una línea base.
• Analizar (En inglés Analyze): Tercera etapa del proceso es esta fase se procesa la información recopilada en las etapas anteriores con el fin de encontrar las causas raíz, para luego priorizarlas, definir planes y las propuestas de solución.
• Mejorar (En inglés Improve): En esta etapa se implementan las soluciones que atiendan las causas raíz, para asegurarse de corregir o reducir el problema.
• Controlar (En inglés Control): En esta última etapa se generan e implementan medidas para la sostenibilidad de la mejora en el tiempo.
La propuesta apunta en la disminución de balanceo dinámico mediante el ajuste e implementación de sistemas de mejoras esperando obtener una disminución del 40% del total de la falla, estimándose un ahorro de 64.954 [ 𝑈𝑆𝐷/ 𝑎𝑛𝑢𝑎𝑙] por neumático vulcanizado.
The following work corresponds to the degree project to qualify for the title of Mechanical Civil Engineer. This consists of the generation of a proposal to reduce the failure of products of a Tire Manufacturing company, called "Tires out of balance ", consisting of the presence of greater radial weight in the tire greater than the value specified by the company's standards. To generate the proposal the DMAIC methodology is used. This method consists of the application of a series of stages already defined so that the project is effective at the time of implementation, which goes from management to operation, and is divided into five phases. • Define: It is the first stage of the process in which the objective of the project is clarified, the way it is going to be measured, the potential benefits, and the people who will intervene. To make it known that it is a problem, that it is quantifiable, and may be subject to improvement. • Measure: In this second stage, the process is understood in greater detail and the measurement system of the metrics involved is validated, establishing a baseline. • Analyze: It is the third stage of the process, in this phase the information collected in the previous stages is processed with the end to find root causes, then prioritizes them, define plans, and solution proposals. • Improve: In this stage, the solutions that address the root causes are implemented, to make sure about correct or reduce the problem. • Control: In this last stage, measures are generated and implemented for the sustainability of the improvement over time. The proposal aims at decreasing dynamic sway, expecting to obtain a reduction of 40% of the total failure, estimating a saving of 64,954 [USD / year] per cure tire
