DISEÑO DE SERVICIO DE CUIDADO DE MASCOTAS COMO INSTANCIA LABORAL RECREATIVA PARA EL ADULTO MAYOR

Abstract

El presente trabajo da cuenta sobre elproceso investigativo respecto a la situaciónactual de los adultos mayores, basándose endatos y diagnósticos publicados por unaencuesta social del Servicio Nacional delAdulto Mayor (Senama), en conjunto concaja de compensacion Los Andes (2017), sevisualiza la forma en cómo vive este grupoetario en Chile. Si bien existe un progreso enla calidad de vida aún hay problemáticas enlas cuales trabajar desde el punto de vistadel desarrollo de productos y servicios. Lamayor intranquilidad del adulto mayor seresume en la posibilidad de volversedependiente de otra persona, aspecto quetiene por causa directa la precariedadeconómica y de salud, una proveniente delas bajas pensiones y la otra afectada por laescasa actividad física.De manera paralela se investigan dosmercados: primeramente el mercado de lasmascotas con su comportamiento deconstante crecimiento a nivel negocio; y la tendencia de la creación de productos bajo elconcepto de IoT. Es así como, bajo elobjetivo de dar solución a los desafíos deladulto mayor, nace la propuesta de unservicio de cuidado de mascotas: “Mayores yMascotas”, donde los adultos mayores seofrecerán para visitar, hospedar o pasearanimales domésticos. El beneficio será laadquisición de ingresos económicos extras através de una actividad recreativa saludable.Para esto se hizo necesario la propuesta dediseño de una plataforma virtual donde elcliente (dueño de mascota) podrá encontraral cuidador ideal para su mascota. Esto,complementado con Dogar, un accesoriointeligente para el collar del animal, haráposible la verificación en tiempo real delservicio y entregará información sobre laactividad física realizada.Entre las proyecciones observadas seplantea la posibilidad de crear un sistema decuantificación a largo plazo del beneficiologrado sobre el adulto mayor, y con esto laoportunidad de ofrecer la informaciónrecopilada a intituciones interesadas o haceriteraciones en el modelo de negociosdependiendo del interés de los socios clavesy el comportamiento del mercado.

This work gives an account about theinvestigative process regarding the currentsituation of the elderly, based on data anddiagnoses published by a social survey of theNational Service of the Elderly (Senama), inconjunction with the Los Andescompensation fund (2017), which shows theway in which this age group lives in Chile.Although there is progress in the quality of lifethere are still problems in which to work onfrom the point of view of the development ofproducts and services. The greatestrestlessness of the older adult is summarizedin the possibility of becoming dependent onanother person, an aspect that createseconomic and health precariousness, onethat comes from low pensions and the otheraffected by the scarce physical activity.In parallel, two markets are beinginvestigated: first, the pet market with itsbehavior of constant growth at the businesslevel; and the trend of product creation under the concept of IoT. This is how, under theobjective of solving the challenges of theelderly, the proposal of a pet care service isborn: "Seniors and Pets", where older adultswill offer to visit, host or walk domesticanimals. The benefit will be the acquisition ofextra economic income through a healthyrecreational activity.For this, the proposal of designing a virtualplatform where the client (pet owner) couldfind the ideal caregiver for his or her pet wasnecessary. This, complemented by Dogar, anintelligent accessory for the animal's collar,will make it possible to verify the service inreal time and will provide information on thephysical activity carried out.Among the observed projections is thepossibility of creating a long-termquantification system of the benefit achievedby the elderly, and with this the opportunity tooffer the information collected to interestedinstitutions or iterate in the business modeldepending on the interest of the key partnersand the behavior of the market.
