Abstract
El Presente trabajo es una investigación documental que describe una visión práctica de los procesos de reasignación de flota en el corto plazo, proveyendo al lector un entendimiento general de los procesos, términos y alcances de las diferentes aproximaciones utilizadas durante los años en las líneas aéreas. En esta memoria se describen los aspectos generales a considerar en la implementación de un modelo de demand driven dispatch, basado en los nudos críticos que tuvo que enfrentar LATAM para la implementación de este modelo y el estado del arte actual. Para ello se hizo una recopilación de investigaciones anteriores que muestran el estado de avance que ha tenido esta aproximación en las líneas aéreas alrededor del mundo.
Este trabajo incluye una descripción de los alcances de este modelo implementado en la aerolínea Latam Airlines según la información recabada por entrevistas. Dicho relato muestra los resultados alcanzados, los nudos críticos que tuvieron que resolver a la hora de implementación y también recomendaciones, entre otros datos, que sirven como aspectos generales a considerar en la implementación del modelo en una aerolínea.
Este trabajo espera determinar lineamientos generales de implementación a considerar en una aerolínea, que pueda describir prácticamente el modelo y que permita al lector poder ordenar, visualizar la magnitud y orden de una implementación del modelo de Demand Driven Dispatch.
The present work is a documentary investigation that describes a practical vision of a close-in refleeting model, better known internationally as Demand Driven Dispatch, providing a general understanding of the processes, terms and scope of the different approaches used during the years in the airlines. This report describes the general aspects to be considered in the implementation of a Demand Driven Dispatch model, based on the critical nodes that LATAM had to face in the implementation of this model and the current state of the art. To this end, a compilation of previous research was made that shows the progress made by this approach in airlines around the world. This work includes a description of the scope of this model implemented in Latam Airlines according to the information collected through interviews. This report shows the results achieved, the critical nodes that had to be resolved at the time of implementation and also recommendations, among other data, which serve as general aspects to consider in the implementation of the model in an airline. This paper hopes to determine general implementation guidelines to consider in an airline, which can practically describe the model and that allows the reader to order, visualize the magnitude and order of an implementation of the Demand Driven Dispatch model.
