Abstract
El presente trabajo investigativo desarrolla una metodología robusta para estimar emisiones atmosféricas asociadas al transporte marítimo en Chile para el año 2015. La metodología es del tipo Bottom Up y se elabora a partir de una base de datos de movimientos portuarios en Chile durante el 2015 provista por la Armada de Chile con 24.000 movimientos aproximadamente. Las emisiones son calculadas a partir de factores de emisión para cada contaminante, los cuales toman en consideración las variables tipo de combustible, modo de operación y velocidad de operación de los motores. A su vez, el modelo considera distintos supuestos asociados al tipo de nave. Adicionalmente, se realiza un análisis de sensibilidad de los parámetros más trascendentes para poder visualizar el impacto que estos tienen en los resultados y poder asociarles cierta incertidumbre, como también se comparan los resultados con estudios anteriores
The present research work develops a robust methodology to estimate atmospheric emissions associated to the maritime transport in Chile by 2015. The methodology is of the Bottom Up type and is elaborated from a database of port movements in Chile during the 2015 provided by the Navy of Chile with approximately 24.000 movements. Emissions are calculated from emission factors for each pollutant, which take into consideration the variables fuel type, mode of operation and speed of operation of the engines. In turn, the model considers different assumptions associated with the type of ship. In addition, a sensitivity analysis of the most transcendent parameters is performed in order to visualize the impact they have on the results and to be able to associate some uncertainty, as well as comparing the results with previous studies.
