Abstract
Este trabajo presenta la preparación de las bases técnicas para realizar las reparaciones necesarias que permitan asegurar un nivel de operatividad, confiabilidad y seguridad del montacargas tipo funicular de 40 toneladas, propiedad de ESVAL S.A. El trabajo de título se desarrolla en la empresa con el fin de una vez realizadas las reparaciones, bajar por el funicular maquinaria de alto tonelaje para realizar trabajos en protección costera de la planta de aguas servidas Loma Larga.La finalidad de este trabajo es evaluar los sistemas y constituyentes del funicular, proponer un plan de acción con las reparaciones prioritarias y establecer las bases técnicas de las misma, además de establecer un plan de mantenimiento periódico preventivo para la instalación. Para cumplir con la meta señalada se desarrolla en primer lugar una introducción al transporte vertical y su evolución en el tiempo. Luego, se realiza una descripción con aspectos generales de la empresa, el marco teórico en el que se enmarca el funicular. Posterior a esto se efectua una descripción de toda la instalación del funicular y se definen los sistemas que están involucrados en el funcionamiento de este, se incluye la planimetría hasta ahora inexistentes de algunas estructuras del funicular. También se indican las especificaciones técnicas generales para la realización de los trabajos en el funicular, además se señalan los aspectos más importantes que destacan en la etapa de diagnóstico y criterios de intervención, en los cuales se definen las tareas a realizar para lograr la reparación del funicular apoyado en normas a modo de referencia, ya que no existe normativa vigente para este tipo de funicular.Finalmente se desarrolla un plan de mantenimiento periódico-preventivo para cada uno de los sistemas del funicular, para así aumentar la disponibilidad del funicular para su uso y prevenir posibles fallas del sistema que provoquen pérdidas para la empresa.

In order to meet the stated goal, an introduction to vertical transport and its evolution over time is developed. Then, a description is made with general aspects of the company, the theoretical framework in which the funicular is framed. Subsequent to this a description of the whole installation of the funicular is made and the systems that are involved in the operation of this one are defined, it includes the existent planimetry of some structures of the funicular. It also indicates the general technical specifications for carrying out the work on the funicular, in addition it is indicated the most important aspects that stand out in the stage of diagnosis and intervention criteria, in which the tasks to be performed to achieve the repair of the Funicular supported by standards for reference, since there is no current regulations for this type of funicular.Finally, a preventive maintenance plan was developed for each of the funicular systems, in order to increase the useful life and prevent possible system failures that could cause losses for the company.
