Abstract
La progresiva consolidación de la comuna de Valparaíso como una fuerte centralidad en el ámbito universitario, se ve reflejado en la creciente localización de numerosos campus de estudios, además de las diversas actividades desarrolladas por los estudiantes.Particularmente, el quehacer laboral de los alumnos, que en ocasiones realizan en paralelo a sus estudios parece una actividad que pasa desapercibida en la sociedad, siendo un gran porcentaje, esta podría ser canalizada especializándola y dándole cabida en cualquier área que contribuya al desarrollo de la ciudad.Así, el presente proyecto de arquitectura propone la creación de un edificio de especialización gastronómica y hotelera para la comuna de Valparaíso. La importancia recae en lo que cada estudiante recoge como aprendizaje poniéndolo en práctica en la ciudad específicamente en el área turística, indirectamente esta relación que nace a partir del edificio de extensión es trasmitida hacia los residentes y visitantes de la comuna.La manera en cómo se plantea esta nueva plataforma, es ser un modelo que pone en línea al gran número de estudiantes de cursossuperiores que compatibilizan sus estudios con la vida laboral al servicio del desarrollo turístico de la comuna, poniendo un valor adicional a la consolidación de un Valparaíso ciudad universitaria.

Particularly, the labor occupation of the pupils, which in ocaciones realize in parallel to his studies looks like an activity that happens unnoticed in the company, being a great percentage, this one might be canalized her specializing and giving him content in any area that constribuya to the development of the city.This way, the present project of architecture proposes the creation of a building of gastronomic and hotel specialization for the commune of Valparaiso. The importance relapses in what every student gathers as learning putting it into practice in the city specifically in the tourist area, indirectly this relation that it is born from the extension building is trasmitida towards the residents and visitors of the commune.The way in since this new platform appears, is to be a model who puts on line the great number of students of top courses who make compatible his studies with the labor life to the service of the tourist development of the commune, putting an additional value to the consolidation of a valparaíso university city.
