DISEÑO DE PLAN DE NEGOCIO PARA UNA PLATAFORMA VIRTUAL DE VINCULACIÓN DE CONOCIMIENTO ENTRE EL SECTOR PRODUCTIVO Y LA UNIVERSIDAD

Abstract

Chile no ha logrado avanzar a las siguientes fases exportadoras y salir de la trama de los países de ingresos medios. Las autoridades manifiestan su preocupación por la gran dependencia que el país tiene de los recursos naturales. Entre las debilidades que observan los expertos está la escasa vinculación de las universidades con el sector productivo (JMB, 2015).Para contribuir a subsanar esta debilidad, un equipo de ingenieros chilenos se propuso desarrollar una solución web que vincula empresas y universidades. El propósito de este documento es presentar dicha solución, que lleva como nombre SEARCH SOLUTION, y evaluar el modelo de negocios que podría hacerla viable en el mercado.El proceso de construcción de SEARCH SOLUTION, incluyó un benchmarking en España, en las universidades Politécnica de Valencia y Politécnica de Cataluña, para investigar cómo ellos han resuelto la gestión del conocimiento, la logística interna y la vinculación de conocimiento entre el Sector Productivo y la Universidad, estudiando en profundidad la solución CARTA. También hicimos este estudio en Chile, con el DICTUC y el IDIEM.Lo que hace SEARCH SOLUTION, es incorporar las bases de datos de las Patentes, Licencias, Memorias, Tesis, Tesinas, Estudios y Publicaciones de otras Universidades en una sola plataforma, para buscar el conocimiento desarrollado en ellas por tema, país, continente o a nivel global.De esta forma se vinculó a una plataforma única, los sistemas de búsqueda de las universidades con las que se tiene principio de acuerdo.En la plataforma se puede navegar por Europa/España, en los buscadores de la Universidad Politécnica de Valencia y Universidad Politécnica de Cataluña. En Sudamérica/Chile, se generó la vinculación a los buscadores de la UTFSM y al de DICTUC UC. Posteriormente la UTFSM deberá autorizar el poblamiento de la base de datos con la información interna de la universidad.Como resultado la plataforma permite relacionar efectivamente a las universidades, con potenciales clientes e inversionistas del Sector Productivo.La plataforma está en etapa beta, el piloto está diseñado para ser ejecutado en Abril de 2015. Después del piloto se espera poblar la plataforma con información real y vincular Universidad o Sector Productivo y probar su funcionamiento.La metodología utilizada involucró una revisión de literatura nacional e internacional para apreciar cómo es abordada la tercera misión de las universidades en Chile, cómo es el modelo de negocio de las actuales plataformas existentes en el mundo y realizar un análisis de las herramientas encontradas que resuelven de forma parcial esta problemática.

Chile has failed to advance to the next stage and exporting out of the fabric of middle-income countries. The authorities are concerned about the heavy reliance of the country has natural resources. Among the weaknesses observed by the experts is the weak link between universities and the productive sector (JMB, 2015).In order to rectify this weakness, a team of Chilean engineers set out to develop a web solution that links companies and universities. We also did this study in Chile, with DICTUC and IDIEM.SEARCH SOLUTION making is to incorporate databases of patents, licenses, memoirs, theses, dissertations, studies and publications of other universities on a single platform, to seek knowledge developed in them by subject, country, continent or level global.This will be linked to a single platform, search systems of the universities that have tentative agreement.On the platform you can browse through Europe / Spain, in the search engines of the Polytechnic University of Valencia and Polytechnic University of Catalonia. In South America / Chile, linking seekers UTFSM DICTUC and UC was generated.
