Abstract
This work has its origin in the clear business opportunity that is observed in the process of extracting the nuts on the off-road trucks, "CAEX". Whereas a contribution in automating this process will bring economic benefits to potential customers in the mining sector. The target market consists of mining companies with tasks open pit. Chile Since the country with the largest investment in Latin America representing 58% of global investments In the current economic scenario, the implementation of the device appears to have a guaranteed market as many companies are saving plan. Furthermore the use of a DET in the extraction process involves wheel, proportional to the number of trucks economic benefits. These benefits are the result of the decrease in cup loss ratios and increased availability. The benefits that the mining company will for the implementation of TEDs are related to the availability of CAEX and decreased risk and loss ratios job losses. This implies an economic benefit to the mining company. The implementation of TEDs in the extraction process nuts in CAEX trucks heading of mining is economically feasible as long as its development business model proposed in Chapter 4 are met, considering sensitive parameters such as the number of implemented, devices and how these are delivered to the customer, whether direct sale, lease or comprehensive service. In implementing the device should pay attention to the number of implemented in the ten years of the project devices, and how this is implemented, the comprehensive service is the best deployment option because in this model the company receives income for the full service, equipment utilization, also the company gets off the owner be pro depreciation of equipment.
