Abstract
Comercializadora Patagonia Chile Ltda. se desenvuelve en el mercado de la aromatización ambiental, perteneciente a la industria de la decoración. Importa dos marcas de su empresa de origen, Patagonia Candles, ubicada en Buenos Aires, Argentina. La comercialización es a través de tiendas especializadas de decoración y el retail. El retail es el canal de ventas de mayor facturación, por lo que se selecciona este canal de ventas para el trabajo. Las etapas para desarrollar el trabajo se basan en el ciclo de Deming, por lo que primero se levanta información acerca de las relaciones comerciales con los distribuidores y de los problemas de la empresa en el suministro de los productos, considerando aspectos estratégicos, de organización, procesos y resultados de las operaciones. Esta información se utiliza para proponer un marco estratégico de las operaciones y diseñar la estrategia de mejora que se plasma en el plan de mejora de operaciones, el objetivo principal del trabajo. Finalmente, se realiza una validación del plan, mediante un desarrollo a pequeña escala de un subconjunto de acciones.

Finally, some actions defined by the plan are set out with the intention of making the plan valid.
