PROPUESTA DE MEJORA PARA EL PROCESO DE CONTROL DE ACTIVOS FIJOS.

Abstract

¿Cuál es la importancia del control contable administrativo de activos fijos y cómo se puede controlar la gestión del activo fijo en una empresa de Ground Handling que opera en distintos terminales a lo largo de Chile para no tener desfases entre la realidad y la información contable? Son las preguntas más importantes que abarcan gran parte de este trabajo de memoria, que tiene como fin realizar una propuesta de mejora para el control de activos fijos en Acciona Airport Services Chile. Este trabajo se realizó revisando la literatura respecto al control administrativo y recopilando modelos de control de activos fijos en esta y otras industrias y cómo se implementaron exitosamente, con el objetivo de proponer un modelo aplicable a la realidad de la empresa. Luego, se utilizaron herramientas de gestión de calidad que permitieron identificar la situación actual de los activos fijos, mediante una lluvia de ideas con las personas que más implicancia tienen en el proceso. Este análisis permitió encontrar las principales causas que generan los desfases en la información en las cuáles destacaron la inexistencia de procesos y la baja o nula comunicación entre las áreas. A continuación, y utilizando ciclo de Deming, con el fin de que los procesos estén en constante evaluación y mejora, se estructuró el modelo y se propuso un plan de implementación que tendrá un costo anual fijo de CLP 48,1 M y una duración de un año calendario para poder hacer seguimiento a los procesos definidos. Finalmente, se concluyó que el control de activos fijos es relevante para contar con información financiera sólida y confiable que facilite la toma de decisiones de negocio, tales como planes de inversión y uso eficiente de la flota, así como también mejorará la protección de su patrimonio, mediante el cuidado de los activos y su buen uso y, por otro lado, facilitará cómo la empresa enfrenta las auditorías de cierre de año y se minimiza el riesgo de tener problemas tributarios.What is the importance of the administrative accounting control of fixed assets and how can the management of fixed assets be controlled in a Ground Handling company that operates in different terminals throughout Chile? These are the most important questions that cover a large part of this study, which aims to make an improvement proposal for the control of fixed assets in Acciona Airport Services Chile. This work was carried out by reviewing the literature regarding administrative control and compiling fixed asset control models in this and other industries and how they were successfully implemented, with the aim of proposing a model applicable to the reality of the company. Then, quality management tools were used that made it possible to identify the current situation of fixed assets, through brainstorming with the people who are most involved in the process. This analysis made it possible to find the main causes that generate gaps in information, in which the non-existence of processes and the low or null communication between the areas stood out. Next and using the Deming cycle, so that the processes are constantly evaluated and improved, the model was structured, and an implementation plan was proposed that will have a fixed annual cost of CLP 48.1 M and a duration of a calendar year to be able to follow up on the defined processes. Finally, it was concluded that the control of fixed assets is relevant to have solid and reliable financial information that facilitates business decision making, such as investment plans and efficient use of the fleet, as well as improving the protection of your assets, through the care of the assets and their good use and, also, it will facilitate how the company faces the year-end audits and the risk of having tax problems is minimized.
