Abstract
Debido a la creciente necesidad de contar con herramientas de apoyo al aprendizaje así como de aprendizaje remoto, los Learning Management System (LMS) o sistemas de gestión del aprendizajes han tomado una importancia vital en cualquier institución educativa, ya sea de modalidad presencial o remota. En la presente memoria, se desarrollará un análisis sobre los principales conceptos relacionados al e-Learning y las distintas alternativas de este tipo de sistemas disponibles en el mercado, se determinará la opción más factible de implementación en comparación con Moodle, que es el sistema actual usado por el Departamento de Informática y USM. Luego de esto se realizará una especificación de requerimientos y se determinará el cumplimiento de estos con la alternativa seleccionada.
Due to the increasing necessity to count with learning support tools as well as remote learning, the Learning Management Systems (LMS) has gained vital importance in any educational institution, whether in classroom education mode or remote mode. In the present report, it will be developed an analysis about the main concepts related to e-Learning and different alternatives of this type of systems available in the market, the most feasible implementation option will be determined in contrast with Moodle, which is the current system used by de Informatics Department and USM. After this, a requirements specification will be generated and the compliance of these with the selected alternative.
