Abstract
The use of renewable energies and the care of the planet is a reality that day by day becomes more latent in society. The energy sector seeks to renew and leave behind the generation sources that negatively impact the environment. The wind farm construction alternative is a reality for which it is opting and advancing with good steps in our country contributing with the production of clean electric power to the national electricity system. The present study aims to show the development and implementation of the control plan of operations for earthworks by Constructora Llanquihue in the construction of the Aurora Wind Farm, which is located in the X Region of Los Lagos, Chile.Constructora Llanquihue company is responsible for the construction of stabilized roads that provide connectivity to the interior of the Project, in addition to the execution of the excavation and filling with the granular aggregate of foundations for wind turbines and assembly platforms. Thanks to the present study and application of the control plan of operations for earthworks, there are substantial improvements in the documentation and data processing for Constructora Llanquihue. The actual swelling percentage of granular well material is obtained, which allows to project yields and construction costs. With the study of the tasks and the report of the machinery it could create a solid database for the company in order to use it in real project situations. Such as machinery yields, truck trips, construction costs, work execution times, among other data. With this, improvements are proposed in the programming of the work for the present wind farm, being able to project useful information to future projects with similar characteristics.
