PROYECTO GALENO DESARROLLO DE UN WEARABLE ORIENTADO AL MONITOREO REMOTO DE PACIENTES

Abstract

En el siguiente proyecto de titulo se abordó de manera multidisciplinaria un desafío relacionado con problemáticas de atención en el área de la salud chilena, teniendo como eje principal la incorporación de pacientes aislados como también disminuir la tasa de infecciones intrahospitalarias. Para enfrentar este desafío se desarrolló un ecosistema tecnológico consistente en un dispositivo, acoplado a una polera con sensores, encargado de leer signos vitales que luego son enviados mediante bluetooth a un smartphone Android quien funciona como puente hacia una plataforma web donde se almacena la información.

In the following title project, a challenge related to health care issues in the Chilean health area was addressed in a multidisciplinary manner, with the main focus being the incorporation of isolated patients as well as reducing the rate of nosocomial infections. To face this challenge, a technological ecosystem was developed consisting of a device, coupled with a sensor t-shirt, in charge of reading vital signs that are then sent by Bluetooth to an Android smartphone that acts as a bridge to a web platform where information is stored.
