Abstract
El presente trabajo corresponde a la propuesta de un plan de mejora de la gestión de producción en una empresa dedicada a la fabricación de instrumentación científica, realizado en base a un diagnóstico de los procesos de gestión. Su objetivo general es desarrollar una propuesta de mejora de la gestión de la producción en una empresa de tamaño mediano, con la intención de aumentar el desempeño de su sistema productivo. El trabajo comienza con la realización de un diagnóstico de las condiciones iniciales de la empresa recopilando antecedentes generales y específicos de la organización, su marco estratégico, el detalle de sus principales procesos y sus resultados característicos, tales como el porcentaje de cumplimiento, tasa de reclamos, retraso medio en los trabajos y los niveles de ventas mensuales. Posteriormente, se establece el marco estratégico definido en conjunto con la empresa. Mediante la herramienta de análisis FODA se evidencian aspectos internos y externos de la organización entregando la base para generación de este marco estratégico que contempla la misión, objetivos y estrategia específica de la gestión de producción en la empresa. Seguido a esto, se realiza el análisis de las brechas existentes entre el estado real del proceso de gestión de la empresa y los objetivos planteado dentro del marco estratégico.
The present work corresponds to the proposal of a plan to improve the management of production in a company dedicated to the manufacture of scientific instrumentation, based on a diagnosis of management processes. Its general objective is to develop a proposal to improve the management of production in a medium-sized company, with the intention of increasing the performance of its production system. The work begins with the realization of a diagnosis of the initial conditions of the company, gathering general and specific background of the organization, its strategic framework, the detail of its main processes and its characteristic results, such as the percentage of compliance, rate of claims, average delay in work and monthly sales levels. Subsequently, the strategic framework defined in conjunction with the company is established. Through the SWOT analysis tool, internal and external aspects of the organization are shown, providing the basis for generating this strategic framework that includes the mission, objectives and specific strategy of production management in the company. Following this, an analysis is made of the gaps between the real state of the company's management process and the objectives set within the strategic framework.
