Abstract
Hoy en día es difícil poder mantenerse informado. En internet existe tal cantidad de
información que no puede ser manejada fácilmente, por lo que este proyecto nació ante la
necesidad de crear un sistema informativo y publicitario que mitigara los problemas
señalados. Para el Departamento de Informática es muy valioso el poder comunicar
información a sus alumnos a través de un medio que sea estándar para todos los alumnos, lo
que hacía necesario un sistema que pudiese administrar la información de fuentes de RSS.
Mediante el uso de las nuevas tecnologías como lo son HTMLS, AJAX y Android
se desarrolló una plataforma que es capaz de informar a la comunidad y promocionar a!
Departamento de Informática. El sistema hace uso de análisis semántico para identificar
sujetos y relacionar noticias, con el fin de hacer sugerencias de noticias a publicar e
identificar noticias donde la universidad estuviese involucrada.
El resultado fue un sistema autónomo y que puede automatizar gran parte del
trabajo. Un sistema que está dividido en un servidor central que almacena la información y
pequeños sistemas Android que son capaces de mostrar noticias y videos.
Nowadays it is difficult to keep updated. To the Computer Engineering Department it is crucial to communicate information to its students by means that are standard for all of them, which makes it necessary to create a system able to manage information from RSS feed. By using new technologies such as HTML5, AJAX and Android, a platform capable of informing the community and promoting the Computer Engineering Department was developed. The system makes use of semantic analysis to identify and relate pieces of news in order to make suggestions of news to be published, and also to identify news in which the University is involved. The result was an independent system capable of automating most of the work. A system divided into a main server which stores the information, and smaller Android units capable of showing news and videos.
