EVALUACIÓN TÉCNICA ECONÓMICA COMPARATIVA DE PRECALENTAR AGUA DE PROCESOS EN PACKING DE LA VI REGIÓN VÍA RECUPERACIÓN DEL CALOR DISIPADO POR CONDENSADORES DEL CICLO DE REFRIGERACIÓN

Abstract

Se presentaron tres empresas de embalaje de frutas donde se evaluó la opción dereutilizar energía térmica que se pierde en sus sistemas de refrigeración.Para cada empresa evaluada, se desarrolló una propuesta técnica para la reutilizaciónde energía en el proceso de precalentar agua para lavado de frutas por medio deun intercambiador de calor. Se estimó el costo necesario para iniciar y mantener elproyecto en cada empresa; y, con el ahorro como utilidad recuperada, se obtuvieronindicadores económicos a través del flujo de caja desarrollado en cada una.Se realizaron simulaciones de los escenarios probables de cada proyecto, obteniendola certeza en que los indicadores económicos mantienen y mejoran su valor, rentabilidady pronta recuperación de inversión.Se analizaron los datos mediante correlación, obteniendo una fuerte relación decaracterísticas de las empresas con el valor a recuperar y la rentabilidad. Además, seobtuvo la disminución de energía del refrigerante que ingresará a los condensadores.Y por último, se realizaron recomendaciones para la aplicación de los proyectos yde las condiciones que deben poseer las empresas a evaluar para ser rentables.

Three fruit packaging companies were presented where the option of reusing thermalenergy lost in their refrigeration systems was evaluated.For each evaluated company, a technical proposal was developed for the reuse of energyin the process of preheating water for fruit washing by means of a heat exchanger. Itwas estimated the cost necessary to start and maintain the project in each company;And, with savings as a recovered utility, economic indicators were obtained throughthe cash flow developed in each one.Simulations of the probable scenarios of each project were carried out, obtaining thecertainty that economic indicators maintain and improve their value, profitability andprompt recovery of investment.The data were analyzed by correlation, obtaining a strong relation of characteristics ofthe companies with the value to recover and the profitability. In addition, the energyreduction of the refrigerant entering the capacitors was obtained.And finally, recommendations were made for the implementation of the projects andthe conditions that companies should have to evaluate to be profitable.
