Abstract
El presente trabajo de titulo sigue un procedimiento de diseño para concebir un sistema de transporte de materia prima para una fábrica de plásticos que ayude en la tarea de abastecimiento de materia prima de 8 máquinas extrusoras. La metodología de trabajo comienza con la descripción del problema, en donde se plantean las complicaciones generales que presenta la fábrica dentro de la fase de extrusión de su ciclo productivo. Posteriormente se recopila un marco teórico que abarca desde los principios básicos del manejo de materiales hasta la descripción del manejo de material al interior de la fábrica. Con toda esta información recolectada se procede a continuar con las siguientes fases de la metodología, que serían diseño conceptual, diseño de configuración y diseño de detalle.
The present title work follows a design procedure to design a raw material transport system for a plastics factory that helps in the task of supplying raw material to 8 extruder machines. The work methodology begins with the description of the problem, where the general complications that the factory presents within the extrusion phase of its productive cycle are presented. Subsequently, a theoretical framework is gathered that ranges from the basic principles of material handling to the description of material handling inside the factory. With all this information collected continue the following phases of the methodology, which are conceptual design, configuration design and detail design.
