Abstract
En las faenas mineras, las emisiones de material particulado corresponden a un aspecto relevante medioambiental y operacionalmente, teniendo impactos directos a la faena minera y comunidades aledañas. Se estableció producto de un levantamiento de información de las faenas mineras chilenas que la principal fuente de polvo es el transporte de equipos de alto tonelaje, lo cual fue ratificado por los testimonios de personal entrevistado, expertos en su área de trabajo. La información recopilada por testimonios de profesionales relacionados con las operaciones mineras de perforación y tronadura, transporte y planta de chancado explica las soluciones implementadas para el control y monitoreo del material particulado, problemas, mejoras, indicadores de desempeño (KPI’s) y áreas involucradas en estos parámetros. Respecto al último punto, el área que define la implementación de nuevas soluciones, compromisos ambientales u operacionales deja de manifiesto la importancia del área de operaciones para la implementación y control de nuevas soluciones. Se desarrolla una lógica de control de la integración de nuevas soluciones, la que demostró que las soluciones deben cumplir una serie de objetivos o KPI’s para la implementación operacional. Con la información provista por los testimonios de los profesionales, se diseñaron los esquemas de los KPI’s y parámetros relevantes de las áreas estudiadas, las cuales fueron relacionadas con procesos asociados a cada actividad relacionada al KPI expuesto. Para validar los esquemas realizados, se presentan los esquemas de gestión, monitoreo y tecnologías al personal del área de proyectos e informática de la empresa EYE3, quienes aprobaron el diseño, la lógica y contenido de estos, indicando que para una etapa inicial cumple todas las expectativas.
Particulate material emissions correspond to a relevant matter environmentally and operationally speaking at mining sites, having a direct impacts in them and in the surrounding communities. It was established by a survey of information from Chilean mining operations that the main source of dust is the transport of high tonnage equipment, which was ratified by the testimonies of personal interviewees, experts in the área of matter. The information collected by the testimonials from professionals workers related to drilling and blasting, transportation and crushing plant mining operations explains the solutions implemented for the control and monitoring of particulate material, problems, improvements, compliance KPIs and areas involved in these parameters. Regarding the last point, the area that defines the implementation of new solutions, environmental or operational commitments reveals the importance of the operations area for the implementation and control of new solutions. A logic control for the integration of new solutions is developed, which demonstrated that the solutions must meet a series of objectives or KPIs for the operational implementation. With the information provided by the testimonies of the professionals, the KPI's schemes and relevant parameters of the studied areas were designed, which were related to processes associated with each activity related to the exposed KPI. To validate the schemes carried out, the management, monitoring and technology schemes are presented to the staff of the project and IT area of the EYE3 company, who approved the design, logic and content of these, indicating that for an initial stage it meets all the requirements and expectations.
