Abstract
Esta tesis se centra principalmente en la definición de las estrategias y tácticas necesarias para que la Clínica Odontológica Catedral logre un mejor posicionamiento en el mercado. Las ventajas competitivas de la clínica frente a sus competidores se utilizaron como base para esta investigación. En primer lugar, se presenta un análisis del sector odontológico mediante el método de las fuerzas de Porter. En segundo lugar, se presenta un análisis interno de la clínica a través de la cadena de valor del servicio. Finalmente, se presenta un análisis del mercado para la selección del segmento objetivo. Una vez realizado el análisis externo e interno, se determinan las ventajas competitivas y el posicionamiento de mercado de la clínica. A continuación, se definen los objetivos y las metas estratégicas. Posteriormente, mediante el Marketing Táctico, se definen las acciones tácticas, de precio, de servicio y de comunicación que se llevarán a cabo. Finalmente, se presenta el presupuesto necesario para llevar a cabo dichas acciones, así como la cuantificación de la rentabilidad esperada. A través del análisis, los resultados y las proyecciones definidos, se puede concluir que la ejecución de las tácticas determinadas (la implementación del Plan de Salud Sherpa y el Plan de Difusión Empresarial) constituiría un gran aporte financiero y corporativo para la Clínica Odontológica Catedral.
This thesis mainly focuses on defining strategies and tactics necessary for the Clínica Odontológica Catedral to achieve better market positioning. The competitive advantages that the clinic has as compared to its competitors were used as a basis for this investigation. First, the investigation presents an analysis of the dental industry using the orter forces. Secondly, it presents an internal analysis of the clinic through the chain of service value. Finally, it presents an analysis of the market from which the target market segment selection can be obtained. Once the external and internal analysis are done, the competitive advantages and market positioning of the clinic are determined. Next, the objective and strategy goals are defined. Then, taking a look at Tactical Marketing, the tactical, price, service and communication actions that will be carried out are defined. Finally, the budget required for completing such actions is presented, as well as the quantification of profitability expected. Through the defined analysis, results and projections, it can be concluded that executing the determined tactics (the implementation of the Sherpa Health Plan, the Business Diffusion Plan) ould constitute a great financial and corporate contribution to the Clínica Odontológica Catedral.
