Abstract
El propósito del presente trabajo es realizar un estudio económico y técnico sobre la implementación de un Centro de Mantenimiento Aeronáutico en la Escuela de Vuelo AeroSantaMaríaLa idea de poseer un CMA siempre ha estado presente ya sea para ahorrar costos, así como también optimizar el tiempo en la instrucción a los alumnos, para lo cual se hace necesario realizar una comparación entre el actual modelo (externalización), o contar con un CMA propio.Previamente al análisis de conveniencia es necesario examinar el escenario externo, el cual se ha visto un poco inestable debido al precio del dólar, las expectativas de crecimiento, lo que hacen adoptar una posición más conservadora ante un proyecto de gran inversión.Desde el punto de vista técnico legal se establecen los requisitos físicos mínimos con que debe contar el CMA. Considerando que la escuela de vuelo posee 5 aeronaves, la dotación mínima de personal genera una capacidad ociosa solo por concepto de mantenimiento, por lo que hay que considerar a futuro ofrecer el servicio a otros usuarios de aeronaves.El proyecto se presenta con una inversión de aproximadamente $27.000.000 la cual considera la adquisición de herramientas específicas, instalación de oficina técnica, capacitaciones, entre otros.El VAN del proyecto a perpetuidad es de $73.620.295, lo que implica que a pesar de ser un proyecto ineficiente desde el punto de vista operativo (genera capacidad ociosa), económicamente es atractivo para el inversionista.
The purpose of this work is to conduct an economic and technical study on the implementation of an Aircraft Maintenance Center (MRO) at AeroSantaMaría Flight School. The idea of having a CMA has always been either to save costs, as well as optimize the flight operations, making it necessary to make a comparison between the current model (outsourcing), or have its own CMA. Before examining appropriateness it is necessary to examine the environmental factors, which has been a little shaky due to the price of the dollar, growth expectations, what they do adopt a more conservative stance before a large investment project. From the technical legal point of view minimum material requirements that must be established CMA. Whereas ASM has 5 aircraft, the minimum staffing generates idle capacity only by way of maintenance, so it is need to consider future offer maintenaince service to other users.
