Abstract
Para mantener el liderazgo de nuestro país en la industria minera, nos vemos en la necesidad de mantener a los activos de esta área en óptimas condiciones, lo cual implica mantenimientos eficientes y una alta confiabilidad de ellos. La presente memoria busca elaborar una guía de aplicación que logre esto para un activo en particular, un Caterpillar 962H Wheel Loader, uno de los cargadores frontales comúnmente utilizados en el área de la minería. La guía está basada en la norma BS 60300, la cual tiene como foco principal la gestión de la confiabilidad. En ella se especifican distintos métodos, procedimientos, mediciones y análisis para aumentar la confiabilidad de cualquier activo a través de la implementación de un plan de confiabilidad. Para la elaboración de la guía se estudió la norma y se aterrizó lo más posible al cargador, de tal manera que se excluyeron todas las acciones innecesarias para él, dado sus características y especificaciones. Empleando este estudio, integrando la gestión del cambio y utilizando el ciclo DMAIC como estrategia, para clasificar y ordenar de manera lógica todas las actividades seleccionadas de la norma, se elaboró la guía de aplicación, la cual, utilizando pasos ordenados, guía al usuario a través de un plan de confiabilidad que asegura un aumento en la confiabilidad de
su activo y una mejora en su respectivo mantenimiento.
To maintain our country’s leadership in the mining industry we find ourselves in the need of maintaining heavy equipment machines of this area in optimal conditions, this implies efficient maintenance and a high level of dependability for these machines. This present project seeks to develop an application guide that can achieve this for a specific asset, a Caterpillar 962H Wheel Loader, a common front-end loader used in the area of mining. This guide is based on the BS 60300 standard, which’s main focus is dependability management. It specifies different methods, procedures, measurements, and analysis that are meant to raise the level of dependability, of any item, through the implementation of a reliability plan. For the creation of the guide, the standard was studied and specified to the loader, given its characteristics and specifications, in a way that any unnecessary actions were excluded. Using this study, integrating change management, and using the DMAIC cycle as a strategy, to classify and logically order all the activities selected from the standard, the application guide was developed, which using orderly steps guides the reader through a reliability plan that ensures an increase in its asset’s dependability and an improvement in its maintenance.
