PLAN DE TESTING DE SOFTWARE PARA EL SISTEMA SEC DE FONDECYT

Abstract

Cada año un número considerable de postulaciones a los concursos deProyectos de Iniciación en Investigación, Proyectos de Postdoctorado y ProyectosRegulares son recibidas en FONDECYT (Fondo Nacional de Desarrollo Científicoy Tecnológico), con el fin de entregar fondos de apoyo financiero a la investigaciónindividual en diferentes áreas del conocimiento, estimulando así la investigacióncientífica y tecnológica a nivel nacional. Los proyectos postulantes cuentan conantecedentes que deben ser analizados y evaluados según su área de aplicaciónpara determinar su calificación y posible asignación de un fondo FONDECYT.En este contexto nace SEC (Sistema de Evaluación Curricular), unaplataforma implementada el año 2015 por la empresa de desarrollo de softwareNet-works con el fin de automatizar los procesos evaluativos y disminuir lostiempos finales en la asignación de fondos sobre los proyectos postulantes a losdiferentes concursos de FONDECYT.El objetivo principal de esta memoria, es generar y ejecutar un Plan deTesting sobre el sistema SEC con el fin de dar lineamientos sobre lasfuncionalidades a mejorar y asegurar un producto de calidad para los concursosde los próximos años.

Each year a considerable amount of applications to contests about initiationon investigation projects, post-doctorate projects and regular projects are receivedon National found of Scientific and technological development (FONDECYT), inorder to give funds of individual financial support in different áreas of knowledge,stimulating the scientific and technological investigation to a national level. Theapplicant projects count with backgrounds that must be analyzed and evaluatedaccording to their área of application to determine their qualification and possibleassignation for a FONDECYT fund.In this context is born SEC (Curricular evaluation system), a platformimplemented on year 2015 by the Company of software development Net-workswith the purpose of automatize the evaluative processes and decrease the finaltimes on the assignation of funds about the aplícant projects to the differentFODECYT contests.The main objective of this memory, is to generate and execute a testing planabout the SEC system with the purpose of ensure a quality product for thecontests on the following years.
