Abstract
The present work focuses on the thermal production required by the TABS system, from the English "Thermally Activated Building Systems", for the thermal conditioning of an office building. This system has had a notable development in European countries where great importance has been given to the rational and efficient use of energy. Its particularity lies in the use of structural concrete as a means of thermal accumulation, generating its activation through the circulation of water at temperatures close to ambient temperature. To study the implementation of this conditioning system in our country, a study of the thermal production technologies applied to this system is carried out. Subsequently, the most mature technologies that are easy to access and install are selected to develop models that allow simulating their operation in different climatic zones throughout the country. The defined equipment is a heat pump and a cooling tower, which are modeled parametrically in order to evaluate their coverage according to the dimensioning.
